Newcastleton is a forest full of wildlife and easy to access with signposts & directions from Newcastletion. If you want to get away from the crowds and experience tranquility whilst riding technical mountain bike trails, we are only 30 minutes drive from the English border. The drive to the village is quite twisty but scenic setting you up for a wonderful mountain biking experience, you are also within easy driving distance to Kielder making the village an ideal base to stop over.
The trailhead is within riding distance of the town center, along the main street you will find all the services and supplies you need. The short forest runs are often used as 'laps' by the fitter riders, so by your next lap you will know what is coming up.
